- Oh woe is me.
- I just found out the hard way how much power my A1200 takes. And the
- answer is about 28W. How do I know?
- I have a Blizzard `30 fitted. An IDE seagate 850 HDD, an external drive
- and a sound sampler all plugged in. And a monitor. but that draws next to
- no power from the Amiga.
- The stock PSU blew its fuse, 500mA! It had worked fine for about 2 weeks
- up until then. I replaced the fuse with 3 Amps. ( It was all I had and
- the shops were closed ). Ummmm. and I`m an electronic stood as well.
-
- The PSU is NOT regulated. Is that right?
- I`m getting +16 volts! ac 3-5 volts and some REALLY strange readings. Out
- of it now.
-
- Any ideas, help, funny comments, laughter?
